TRANSPORT & ACCOMMODATION

Transport and accommodation are of course important during a tour. There are also so many different options here. The DUKE is happy to talk to you to determine the most suitable options. For example, you can fly to one of the airports in Scotland, such as Edinburgh, Glasgow or directly to Inverness. From there you can rent a car or camper for a Fly-Drive. But it is of course also possible to make the crossing from IJmuiden to Newcastle with your own car and start the tour from there. Scotland also has a good train network with various authentic trains, where you experience the country in a completely different way. If you want to go island hopping for a week, you can use various internal ferries. In short: there are plenty of options. During the tour you will stay at different locations, so you can discover the most of the country. Here too it is entirely up to your wishes and budget. If you prefer a typical Scottish experience, then you stay in a B&B or an Inn for which Scotland is known. For a more private experience, there are several Holiday Parks, lodges and even plenty of glamping options. You will also find larger resorts scattered across Scotland if you have a greater need for luxury. Do you have an accommodation in mind: the DUKE will find the best options for you.
